Lake Superior State University is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The qualified applicant will assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach with the organization, administration and implementation of the Women’s Basketball Program at LSSU. Assist in recruiting, scouting, practices, games, conditioning and fund-raising activities. Requires working evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and one or more years of experience in coaching at collegiate or high school level.
Desired Qualifications: Thorough knowledge and understanding of institutional, NCAA, and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rules, policies and regulations. Knowledge of recruiting in State of Michigan and ability to judge high school players for talent to play Division II college basketball. Masters Degree preferred
