Serve as Head Women’s Varsity Basketball and Softball Coach, responsible for all aspects of running successful competitive programs including academic supervision of student-athletes, recruiting and retention of quality student-athletes as SUNY Delhi transitions to four year athletics. Detailed written recruiting reports will be submitted monthly to the Director of Athletics. The candidate will organize and conduct all practice sessions using the finest up-to-date coaching techniques, as well as promoting the Student Athletic Code of Conduct. This includes pre-season and off-season conditioning and academic monitoring.
Maintain up-to-date accurate Women’s Basketball and Softball athletic department website. Knowledge of Presto sports stats is preferred. Promote SUNY Delhi Women’s Basketball (Softball) through local media, including press releases, Regional and USCAA National Service Bureaus as well as Alumni events.
Additional duties:
Coordinate all Game Day operations for fall Men’s and Women’s home Soccer games, including supervision and assignment of student-workers, pre-game set up and post-game clean up, including field painting preparations.
Assist with supervising athletic student-worker staff as needed.
Participate in Athletic Department meetings, as well as Student Life Division, and college-wide committee service as requested.
Drive, transport student-athletes to away contests as needed by the department.
